Welcome to the new Danthropology

Well, here it is, my new blog, well, old blog, new home.

As many of you know, I recently left the Patheos network and have decided to make it independent. This wasn’t an easy decision, but one I felt was right for me and the direction I want to take my writing and activism.

For my old readers, this blog will be a lot different. I won’t be doing things like covering the day to day of Ken Ham’s Ark Encounter, though I will still cover the big stories. I won’t be writing about all the ins and outs of the atheist community either. Those blogs already exist and I don’t feel like trying to keep up, and honestly, have little interest in doing so.

For my new reader, reaching me through Twitter, Facebook, and even through Medium, welcome!

This blog will focus mainly on politics, and of the far-left sort. I will delve into the intersection of politics and religion, as I always have, but in a much different way.

The old blog was part of the “atheist channel” of Patheos and was considered an atheist blog. Today, it’s a blog written by someone who happens to be an atheist.

I am really excited about what the future of this blog holds and what I can do with it.

I encourage you to follow it and comment, or interact as you see fit. Share stories if you like them, and be sure to check out the Podcast link above!
