I had a package of formula waiting for me on my front step when I got home with my daughter from the hospital. I had not requested it. No one I knew had bought it for me. The formula company had somehow gotten my address and due date and simply mailed it to me.

This, by the way, was in 2004.

Anyone thinking there’s no support for formula-feeding needs to get out more.
