Why do you think 50 Shades and Twilight are female sexuality? I haven’t read 50, but I read all the Twilight books and they were all focused on the guy. Just because a woman creates something doesn’t mean it’s actually woman-centered… we are so thoroughly socialized into patriarchy that we tend to think its ideas are our ideas. And it’s doubly difficult if we’re heterosexual.
