I don’t think I’ve heard such sentiments articulated in a better way, despite many healthy, happy people whispering the same thing from other states. The wealth aggregation is happening in many places (Miami, Seattle, etc) and as a California native, I found greener pastures in Texas. Politics, infrastructure, social harmony — the list goes on and on — better somewhere else. Let those who don’t have the good sense to investigate and risk (yes, risk!) for better opportunities, stay and be miserable.
