Fall Susquehanna Sunset

At the end of a long week, I left Al’s of Hampden to make my way home for dinner. According to Google Maps, the highway was backed up, so I headed into Enola and then south towards Wormleysburg.

The autumn sun, setting to my right, lit Harrisburg dramatically, framed between the shadowy near shore and the dark, scudding clouds. I snapped this while stopped briefly at a red light on the off chance I might grab a snap worth saving.

The colors scream fall, and the setting is prototypical central Pennsylvania.
