My travel bug
I spent a week in Italy recently and I captured by the history and the beauty of the few churches I been to. I just want to share my experience with the world. Hope you enjoy reading it.
I cannot believe I tried to see it all in a week.
I landed in Rome as my first destination. The most significant thing I saw was the Colosseum and I learned new things as I went. Though I wish I would have captures more of the beauty just standing and taking it all in. I however on Jet lag needed to carry on.

I am not going to talk about it from a historic position because you have either done your own research and or already been. I just want to express the meaning of touching history at my finger tips and how much it has impacted me to for once see the world as more than just a cruelty of people’s sins but an aspect of the crafty people who created this monument for years to stand and make history.
I then saw temples that once stood but then lay down broken along the land.
Such an art, such a place of humbleness that something that once stood beautiful still lye in its place for others to adore.
Next it was the palestino, church and places I only got to taste the outside of. When I entered the very first church I then felt rich in spirit like I had just won the lottery to see such beauty that one eye can never UN see.
As my journey continued I had to take the train from Rome to Naples and that is where I fell in love with the night. Watching the night life from my hotel balcony I could heart a young man playing violin my heart will go on by Celine Dion. I then finished my last glass of wine and made my way over. I wish I had more to share picture wise but I have very few. I just sat and enjoyed it taking it all in swaying to Mozart.
Lastly a shuttle bus took me to my final destination, Sorrento. It made me very nervous knowing I was on a mountain in the middle and close to an active volcano. I was blessed to be close to a part of the world that may not be much left after the eruption of the volcano.
This place was very near and dear to my heart as I visited the Cathedral where Jesus was displayed nailed to a cross showing the bearing and sacrifice he made to save us from our sins. I took my time praying and came here twice before leaving home. I was in awe of the paintings and details in the ceiling and almost golden floors. Everything about being here made me feel like I belonged to Christ.
My message is this: God can treat you better than any man can and will. That is what he told me. That I do not need to seek love is the wrong places but to seek comfort in HIM. How amazing right?
I could write an essay about the amazing taste of food and the wonderful people I met along the way. I just wanted to give you guys a taste of what I was blessed to see and enjoy.
