My parents were a ‘no happy meal’ kind of crowd, but my grandma would sneak me out to go get ’em, so there’s no winning.
I’m a big fan of picking battles. With kids and wars, it’s only worth fighting battles you can realistically win. Maybe the organic-only parents actually can win that one, maybe they can’t, but who cares? It’s your kid and your time, I’d argue that getting your kids to adulthood with their love of learning in tact and with no substance addictions is pretty much a win. The science on organic food is pretty inconclusive from a health standpoint, anyway.
