An Urdu Poem written by me.

“ Chand ko Takti Pagal Larki “

Raat k is sannatay mein,

Jism ko chooti sard hua or

Chand ko takti pagal larki…

Ankho’n se moti tapkaye,

janay kiya kuch sochti jaaye..

Pichli raatain, beeti baat

guzra mahina, pichli yaad

Uskay umar ki har larki tou,

Lambi kameezain, tang shalwar,

kapray, sandal or rukhsaar

In cheezon mein uljhi hain

Phir woh hai kis fikr mein goya?

kesa bech tha dil mein boya

jiski khanakti mitti ab tou

banjar or weraan lagay hai,

bay ronaq sunsaan lagay hai,

Is mitti mein pehlay bhi tou,

khiltay that woh surkh gulaab

nannhi kalyon k baghaat…

Un baagho’n k saray phool,

Us pagli ne noch hain dalay,

jisko muhabbat k pani se usne tha parwaan charhaya,

Or ik surili bulbul ne har mausam mein geet tha gaya..

Kiya woh mausam, kiya woh geet?

Kiya woh bachpan, kia woh meet?

Chaand k pass woh bethi larki,

ab tou jalthal kar bethi hai..

Dil mein toofa’n ya bhonchaal?

Ya maazi ka karb o malaal?

Kuch tou uske dil mein hoga..

Koi tou hadsa guzra hoga..

Or phir uske moom se dil ko

Pighlaya, behkaya hoga..

Kuch tou hoga jiski waja se

woh larki gum sum bethi hai

Or apne mein rehti hai….

Chaand k paas woh bethi larki,

apne ansu poch rahi hai,

or yeh dil mein soch rahi hai,

Main kyun dunya se ghabraun?

Or phir peechay kyun hat jaun??

Goya ab woh baagh nahi hai,

ya woh surkh gulaab nahi hai

Lekin ik jugnu tou hai

jiski babat uske dil ka

har gosha roshan tou hai..

tum kiya jano k yeh jugnu

jiske dil mein hai bas jaata

Usko tou phir Khuda hai chahta…

Chaand k paas woh bethi larki,

Ik dheemi muskaan sajaye,

Sard hawa mein kehti jaaye,

Mera muqaddar hogi jeet,

Hogi muqaddar mera “Jeet”

Chand k pass woh bethi larki,

had darja mazboot hui hai

Sard hawa barfeeli raat,

Pichla peher or chandni raat…

Manzar yakdam badal gaya hai,

Or roshan Suraj aya hai..

jiski kirnain seedhi simt,

ik manzil ko jaati hain

or us simt pe chalti larki,

ankh se oojhal ho jati hai…..

.

.

.

Tum kia jaano woh pagal larki…

Shayad main bhi ho sakti hun!!!!
