I’ve use Aurelia in a few personal projects and I use react from time to time at work. The thing about Aurelia is that once you do your CLI stuff- you really don’t need to learn a whole lot, because its just 99% pure javascript. I like not having to learn a DSL and will spend some extra time (over and above including a script tag) to get set up so that I can write javascript classes that do what I want.

Yes, react components sorta kinda look like es6 classes. They don’t functionally work like them though and there is a lot of magic in getting those components where you want them with the right dependencies.
