Whenever I read about someone who has a mental health issue- whether it be something minor or something towards the more towards the extreme end such as in this article (extreme as in has more affect on one’s life)- I think “Is this the way the universe has made this person to be or have they wandered from the path the universe has made for them?”
For example, I have depression and I believe that it is not a problem that I have to fix, or that it makes me something less than perfect. Even though the world tries to make me believe that I need to be cured and that the image of a perfect person is one that is happy and does not have a “mental health issue”.
I believe that the universe has intended for a lot of the people that have an “issue” with mental health were meant to be like that, but I have never personally known someone who has a more extreme “issue” (extreme referring back how it was previously described). I was wondering if you have the same views as I do or if you think that I am completely wrong?
PS I loved your article, because I know being real with the world can be really difficult sometimes.
