Mark,

Thank you for the valuable input.

I skimmed over many of the points in my article, since there is so much exciting developments in this field.

  1. Bio-available supplements. Makes sense. Any studies to validate the findings? A number on monthly costs?
  2. EWOT — a “focussed O2-bar at the gym?” Another option. Commercial gyms using the technique?

Other developments in Dementia treatment:

3. Monoclonal antibodies to reduce the amyloid-B formation. Studies were unsuccessful to show value in symptomatic AD patients. New clinical trials now in early-stage dementia, without significant disease. (Ron Brookmeyer in March 2016 Alzheimer’s and Dementia journal: http://bit.ly/1SLD0jo)

4. Imaging may also help us pick up sooner on early-onset disease, such as fMRI and PET. (Leela Narayan: World J Radiol. 2016 Mar 28;8(3) 240–254 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4807333/ )

And yet,

I am convinced the biggest impact can and will be made to prevent the disease through dedicated daily lifestyle intervention.

Healthy heart, healthy brain. That simple, and yet that difficult.

Thanks, Mark!
