Setup

Step 1

Get a Google Maps API key: To use Google Maps in your Android app, you will need to obtain an API key from the Google Cloud Console. This key will be used to authenticate your app and enable it to access the Google Maps API.

Add the Secrets Gradle Plugin into the project build.gradle: This plugin secures our Google Maps API key.
