How to write one for your services

An invoice is a bill or reciept with a statement of the sum of all goods and services provided. It is an important part of maintaining a professional relationship with your clients but also important for yourself and for tax purposes. An invoice should include:

  • Name, logo & description of the work
  • Their company name, client name & address
  • A clear total amount being billed with details
  • The date, invoice number, and their order number
  • A description of the work, with details of the costs
  • If registered for VAT, then VAT number
  • Payment details & terms
  • Licensing details
  • Your signature
