The Best of What I am Reading, Watching and Listening to — Startups, Future of Tech & Minimalism (Nov 6)

I like to think I have a knack for finding great content. Each Friday I pull together the best stuff I’m reading, watching and listening too.

Just 3 recommendations this week. They showcase the sheer depth and quality of content that’s available for free on the web today.

They aren’t short — but they are epic.

Startup Playbook by Sam Altman (President of Y Combinator). This is so, so awesome. It’s a must for anyone involved in start ups, or thinking about starting one. In fact, for anyone involved in tech and creating products.

Epic slide deck from former Yahoo board member lays out the future of tech and media by Michael Wolf. A great overview of what’s happening in the tech space — and what’s likely to happen in 2016. Lots of stuff on messaging, audio, gaming, apps, TV etc. Best to make a pot of tea and get comfy. It’s 136 slides!

A Month of Minimalism by By Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus. 31 minimalism tips. If you’re into minimalism, it’s a great reminder of some of the key principles. If you’re not, it’s a set of really great tips!
