Hey Gáspár, amazing article! 1000% agreed!

I’ve been writing something very similar for a little while now, but damn you put it well! Long ago I embraced the FP cult, and felt that eery “deja vu feeling” reading the path to FPJS Gáspár described.

My “writing” is more of a guide, detailing how to escape callback hell with Functional JS. It includes 3–4 realistic examples with different uses for Functional JS. Tests included.

It’s specifically meant to help bridge the gap from a ‘callback mindset’ to actionable steps: https://github.com/justsml/escape-from-callback-mountain/

IMHO FPJS is the most versatile approach.

Please let me know if you have feedback.

Much love & appreciation,
