The Writing Lesson from my Math Tutor

Each time I begin writing something, anything, I lose staring contests to blank pages. It’s as if all the words I want to say are hidden behind the lines of white on paper or screen; when it’s all too quiet with my finger strokes hitting nothing but air, I swear I can hear the words calling to me, almost mockingly so.
