Shattered heart, scathed art.
Poisoned heart, polished art.
Injured heart, healing earth.
Weary heart, teary eyes.
Wary heart, chary heart.
This heart has suffered much from the hands of the sons and daughters of men. Jesus, was this what you suffered on the cross?
Standing on crossroads, walking within crossfire. Being a victim of their double-crossed, crusty circuitousness?
