Dear Women of Color Who Are Told to Be Nicer to White “Allies”
Threads of Solidarity: WOC Against Racism

If you don’t care about the feelings of your allies, you reject your allies. Just so we are clear about this. If they then reject, object, abandon you to your own devices (yeah, that’s worked for centuries), it is entirely on you. Entirely.

There has to be a point where common humanity comes before race. Otherwise you box yourself into a diminished self.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
