Post-TradeMania and Pre-Kickoff Power Rankings
Where each team in 519 Fantasy stands going into week 1, in my opinion. If you’re upset with my ranking, prove me wrong!
Going into week one we have some extremely solid lineups. Some teams have safe lineup with a high floor, others have extremely high ceilings with riskier players. Regardless, here are my rankings before anyone has played a regular season game. Keep in mind, I will not rank myself, and rankings are determined by who I think is the scariest and least intimidating teams to play right now.
11: Golden Tate of Mind (Mike)
Listen, it’s early. And as it stands right now, Mike only has 1 running back on his team. Ronald Jones has potential later in the year but is unstartable right now. I don’t like Adam Theilen or Jack Doyle either. That being said, Deshaun Watson combined with Will Fuller can win any week by themselves on boom weeks. And Keenan Allen/Zeke Elliot have some of the highest floors and ceilings in the league.
10: MattyJanglez (Matt)
Similar to Mike, in a few weeks, Matt’s team is going to be deadly. Even though he has one of the highest projected points totals for week 1, Lev Bell needs to show up before I rank his team higher. He has the number one draft pick in Gurley, and with pickups in Adrian Peterson/Morris, he should be able to take a couple games without Bell and Marlon Mack. But his WR core needs to prove it, then his team will be ranked higher no doubt. A reminder, these rankings are for which teams are deadly right now, in week 1.

9: 7th Floor Crew (Jimi)
With Aaron Jones and Mark Ingram both suspended, Jimi’s roster isn’t complete at the moment. Kenyan Drake and Royce Freeman could surprise some people this year, however. But before I rank him higher I need to see some of the question marks on his team get answered.
8: BLAIRSZN (Matty B)
Matt has a great running back core and is also the owner of Drew Brees and stud TE Jimmy Graham. But in my opinion, he doesn’t have a locked in WR1 like the teams above him have. That being said, Landry/Shepard will have big weeks, but they won’t great as consistent as the stud WRs on other teams.

7: IR Waiting to Happen (Josh)
It’s early in a 12 team league, and right now, depth is the name of JJ’s game. When he cashes in on his bench later in the season, he’ll have no problem filling his lineup with studs. When Edelman and Alshon are in his lineup he’s in for big weeks later in the season. His WR core is absolutely stacked, and Collins/McCafferey are some of the safest Rbs you can get.
6: Easy Breesy
Naman was a tough team to rank. He followed the typical WR1 WR2/RB1 RB2 template, and has AROD and Greg Olsen to compliment, so you’d think I’d have him higher up. He has a solid team and wouldn’t surprise me if he starts undefeated to start the season, the star power just isn’t there for me yet until Cook comes and shows he’s back, and Hilton finds that connection with Luck again. Both of which I predict to happen.
5. Hanging Wit Hernandez (Randy)
If this list was made a week ago, Randy would be a top 3 team. He took a hit with McKinnon going down, but he still grabbed Larry Fitz in the fifth round so he has two absolutely solid star receivers (Fitz/Dhop). And Rex Burkhead is injured so James Whites high floor is raised a little bit aswell. Randy makes great pickups throughout the year so he will recover just fine.
4: D Jackson 5 (Chas)
One of the teams involved in TradeMania came out with Joe Mixon and Davante Adams. Lamar Miller and Mixon are workhorse backs so they have solid floors, pair that with the high level ceilings of Cooper, Adams, Evans and Cam, and Chas is gonna be a team to fear early on.
3: 1stNGoal (Trit)
An early favourite of mine, Trit is solid. Any team with a strong tightend has an immediate advantage on his opponent, and Trit has Kelce. Probably the only weak point of the roster is the fact that it has multiple players on the same team(Jimmy G/Goodwin, and Hunt/Kelce). This isnt necessarily a big hit, but when they play a tough defense, Trit will have some trouble working around it. I also love Sanders and Robinson this season

2: Mikey Vickey Whip It (Mark)
David Johnson, Gronkowski, Julio Jones. Enough said. If these players are healthy, they’re as good as you’re gonna get. And as of right now, all three are ready to roll. They’re a lock. And all JuJu has to do is catch a long bomb and Marks team is set for the week. Kerryon Johnson is a big ? mark that could go either way. And like his stars, injury-prone Jay Ajayi is currently healthy, so all systems are a go for week 1.
1: KillSZN (Isaiah)
As it stands now, Isaiah has no holes. Strong QB, TE and even DEF. I’m a Diggs believer so in my eyes he has a WR1 in him. This is PPR were talking here, I don’t think it gets any better than Freeman/Kamara/Tate/Diggs/Hogan in PPR.
There we have it, things will change, this is the initial rankings. Things will change BIG time.
