I can understand the NBA not understanding how to fully capitalize on KG’s versatility since he entered the league when Shaq, Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, and Zo were all still playing at a high level. It would have been fascinating if KG had been drafted by a coach (Don Nelson type) with the foresight to play him as a small-ball center.

Would I trade 21 seasons of KG at PF for 12–13 “Holy Sh*t” seasons of KG at Center (with his body potentially breaking down faster)? Tough call, though Minnesota might have been able to surround him with more skilled teammates than the stiffs he played with.
