Spacing issues reminds me a little of Washington Bullets in mid-90’s playing Chris Webber & Juwon Howard together in frontcourt at 3 & 4 spots, though Howard was a solid midrange shooter, and Webber flirted with a 3-pt shot.

If Saric and Simmons at least become league average 3-pt shooters and Embiid can extend to free throw line, then I think they could get by as long as you find 3 & D guys to play backcourt. In any case, Coach Brown has his work cut out for him drawing up sets that feature movement and cutting to try to keep defenses from simply collapsing the paint.
