A letter to 19 year olds who feel like a failure

You need to know what your gonna do for the rest of your life.

I heard this statement multiple times. It’s okay to not know right NOW. You have all the time in the world.

What’s your major going to be in college?

Nobody tells you that you don’t HAVE to go to college to be successful. They just make you believe your a failure if you dont.

I’m here to tell you, don’t worry about your future. Don’t let people push you to make your life decision right away. You have all the time in the world.

Just because everyone wants you to go to college doesn’t mean you HAVE to. If you like to travel go be a flight attendant. If being a waitress makes you happy. Don’t listen to those people pressuring you, because in the end it’s about YOUR happiness, not their satisfaction.

Go on adventures. Find yourself. Do not worry. Be strong and courageous. Most importantly, don’t give up.
