Real Madrid’s stadium, the Santiago Bernabeu, was last renovated in 1980 (for the World Cup). After 40 years with the same appearance, in 2019 the club decided to update the whole building to a new, state-of-the-art stadium. And, obviously, it costs a whole lot of money.

When the project was presented in 2018 in Florentino’s office (President of Real Madrid), the price for the new stadium was around 630 Million euros (€). This was the model presented to the club 5 years ago:
