Where does one start? When things began to get really crazy with the Tea Party movement, I decided I needed a reality check, to determine if my alarm was warranted. Then I found the article by Mike Lofgren entitled ‘Goodbye To All That’, Reflections of a GOP Operative Who Left the Cult. Lofgren’s unabashed honesty regarding his party’s wholesale detachment from ethical governing left me stupefied: I wasn’t only wrong, I was patently naive — ‘because the situation with our politics was ever so much worse than I suspected.’ This “cult”, would quite literally prefer mankind go down in flames, than allow an intervention of calm and integrity, guide us to a fairer society and healthier planet. Rather than accept the racially changing landscape and attempt to adapt for purpose of remaining politically relevant, they developed and established group cruelty. Expertly dividing citizens, when we need each other as never before. So today, critically important agencies of the United States government, are in the hands of ultra right wing zealots.

I never thought I’d see the day when I’d fear my own government, but I do. And so should the entire world. It’s time to ask: ‘what can I do for my country?’ Get angry, get involved and help drive this ‘filthy infestation of evil parasites’ back to the cesspool of greed and hatred from which they came.
