A passionate college football fan, Daniel Prechtel counts the Ohio State Buckeyes among his favorite teams.

The Buckeyes boast a win-loss record of 11–1 through its first 12 games of the 2018 season, and a major reason why has been the play of sophomore quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Although he only attempted 57 passes in limited action as a freshman, Haskins showcased his potential as he registered 565 passing yards to go along with 4 touchdowns. This season, as the team’s starting quarterback, Haskins has completed 69 percent of his 455 pass attempts for 4,081 yards and 42 touchdowns compared to only 7 interceptions. He also has 127 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.

Haskins was at his best in Ohio State’s 11th win of the season, which came on November 24 against rival Michigan. The Buckeyes won the game 62–39 and Haskins was the superior quarterback to Michigan’s Shea Patterson as he completed 20 of 31 pass attempts for 396 yards and 6 touchdowns. Fifty-five of those 62 points were recorded by Ohio State’s offense, which marked its highest total in a game against Michigan.
