I’ve never really understood why people cry in certain situations like when parting with friends or when watching a sad or romantic movie.

I’m a guy, I’m wired differently, the last time I cried was about 6 years ago which, to be honest, I had to force it out and it lasted for some seconds.

Some people cry effortlessly and some don’t.

When people start crying the initial tears should be let out, I don’t think the response should be why are you crying ( when you most likely know why ) or stop crying. I believe the response most times should be It’s okay to cry.

If it’s Okay to Laugh, It’s Okay to Cry. After all, they’re all expressions of emotions.
