Control: Six Minutes

Six minutes left in the day for I, Dalton Lewis, to write a blog. Um, I got lucky against Terry two games in a row at Warhammer 40k. You need to roll a six to go first when you have more units than the opponent. Game one, I roll.

Six.

I go first. I don’t do that much damage, but I do manage to do some damage. He deep strikes in and I do enough damage, ripping apart his dreadknights over turns two and three. He didn’t get everything into the game at the same time, and that cost him. He also rolled poorly.

Game one: win.

Game two was similar. I built the new primaris dreadnought to help out. I rolled to seize the initiative.

Six.

I went first again and killed ten of his thirty marines. Ouch. He got a little upset at the bad luck involved, which was fine. At one point I needed a six for my dying dreadnought to blow up and then a six to kill his dreadknight. Done. I rolled a six and then a six.

Win.

Six months ago I couldn’t come close to defeating a good player like this twice in a row, luck or no luck.

The new meds are helping me to focus more on the world around me. That is a positive.

Thanks, and take care, friends.
