Social Media was definitely an amplifier for differences, but it did not invent them. I think there needs to be some soul searching about whether or not people who are either apathetic towards racism or actively racist are worth reaching out to. I realize that has pretty big implications but for almost 250 years America’s Original Sin hasn’t faded. Sure, some effects were mitigated but it feels like we are at high tide for that right now.
