We thought about ways to use less of a hook model with ReadThisNext, too — to make the experience maybe less addictive, but more fulfilling for users, perhaps at the expense of growth. I think it’s a great experiment and probably ahead of its time as people are getting more and more fed up with the constant pull of feed-based apps that usually leave you feeling worse after using.
