100 Days of Code: Day 16

FreeCodeCamp Sections Completed
Mutations (completed)
Falsy Bouncer
Seek and Destroy (started)

Geez JavaScript! You’re killing me! I am having the HARDEST time getting through the Algorithm challenges! I was able to finish Mutations with some help from the FreeCodeCamp Forum. Falsy Bouncer I was able to figure out on my own and I did a cheer and a little dance! Seriously, it’s the small victories that make me all kinds of excited. I think I’m on the right path with Seek and Destroy, but I’ve changed my code so much that I’m just going to reset the challenge and start from scratch at a later point.

So yes, I’m reaching the level of “Frustrated Coder,” where I now need to walk away from what I’m doing and come back to it at a later point. This will most likely be tomorrow for my next hour of coding. I don’t usually like to hold off for so long, but I’ll have a night’s rest under my belt and a somewhat fresh mind (I’ll be coding after work) so I’m optimistic.

But this whole thing has made me exhausted, so I’m going to go watch some anime (Summer season just started! Yay!) and vegetate for a while.

Also, a huge thank you goes out to P1xt for introducing me to http://dillinger.io/, an awesome Markdown editor. I’ll definitely start going through and taking notes with this after I finish the algorithm challenges. :)
