I don’t know what I’m talking about, even though I explained in detail exactly how divorce law and attorneys are SUPPOSED to work?

You explained nothing except to say you’re a “lawyer”, as if that’s sufficient enough to prove that what you’re saying is true. Lol

I’ll be the first to admit that our justice system is absolutely flawed, and truthfully I wouldn’t be surprised if a scenario like this has played out before, and probably will again. But according to the actual law, it’s not legal, and shouldn’t be.

A woman can’t just decide what she gets to take from a marriage. Neither can a man. That’s the entire point of having attorneys. If either party could make demands at a whim and those demands somehow held water in the court of law, then there would be zero need for attorneys in the first place… 🧐

If what you’re saying were true, however, your qualms are once again misplaced; they shouldn’t be with women, but our justice system, which could hardly be called that at all if this were in fact legal. What’s the point in being a lawyer and practicing law if people are allowed to just make it up as they go?
