Love the article Chris. I practice OCR (obstacle course racing) where speed/running is essential, but also strength, because of the loads that one has to carry. In a way, one has to be all-rounded….fast runner, strong. Wondering though, doing 2 heavy strength training and 2 high velocity training a week…would they work against each other? thus leading in no improvement in performance? Thanks in advance!
