Introducing… No More Filing

No More Filing is a brand new iPhone application which is the first step in my vision to change the way consumers (that’s us) interact with businesses, service providers and government departments.

The app allows users to photo (or upload) any household document and store it in a way that’s really easy to find.

You can also set reminders associated with documents such as ‘pay this bill’ or ‘renew this service’.

Quickly find anything you need with the super fast and powerful search engine which looks through all your documents in real time.

Add notes to documents or services providers to remind yourself of who they are or conversations you have had with them in the past.

I built the app to solve some problems that I have (which I believe are common):

  1. My paperwork is stored in a large mess in boxes and I have no idea where anything is
  2. As a result I get pretty stressed when I need to find account numbers, tax codes, passport details etc
  3. It’s even worse when I’m out and about and I need some critical information that’s buried on a piece of paper somewhere in a box under the stairs!
  4. Frankly why is this all a headache, surely in this day and age an app should exist so I can see exactly who my service providers are, get all my documents and communication in one place?

In developing No More Filing I realised that our service has the opportunity to really help create transparency for and to protect consumers from businesses that don’t always put customer first. Features we are planning include: providing analysis on what your paying and if your paying too much; a service to help you to move home more smoothly; and advise you about relevant offers and services.

The next step for us is to start getting service providers and businesses to send your documents directly into your No More Filing account for you so you won’t have to take photos or upload files.

My vision is that No More Filing will be the place that helps you manage all these relationships and ensure you’re not being ripped off.

We’re not charging the you the consumer a penny for this, we believe that the businesses will also benefit from this service so we will be charging them for using it.

The app is live and available on the app store now, please give it a try and let me know how you’re getting on.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
