Zadar, Croatia
Jun 24, 2023
Zadar is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia. It is situated on the Adriatic Sea, at the northwestern part of Ravni Kotari region. The city has a population of 75,082 according to the 2011 census. Zadar is home to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums set on a small peninsula. It’s not too crowded and its two unique attractions — the sound-and-light spectacle of the Sea Organ and the Sun Salutation — need to be seen and heard to be believed.
