Great idea and something companies large and small have been toying with … with mixed success. This is not about tools. Collaboration tools have been around for decades since ICQ. This is about leadership and culture. Can you hold your teams accountable? Are people committed to their jobs or will they slack off? How can you effectively share context around employees? What’s the right mix of remote and in-person sessions? Ask VCs and the consensus on working remote is not clear. Show me a great company with every employee working remote. I agree with the group and I personally would love to work remote but we haven’t cracked the nut yet on how to do it right.
