The Integrated Mind
(Chocolate Orange Dreams)
An interplanetary collective organism which travels the cosmos collecting knowledge. Art. Beauty. Recruiting benga through dreams to a inter dimensional structure that resembles a column of rainbow light.
A tower of ten thousand colourful monoliths “liths”, snaking in a revolving Tower of Pisa like, individual monolyths riddled with illuminated colour, humming, glowing with knowledge, spending years becoming proficient in, say: a colour or a sensation.
I brushed passed one that happened to throb with knowledge and the imagery of a stone age village. An early community, with a plan, some sort of rudimentary architecture and ‘we’ are allowed to leave clues for when we went to spend a lifetime in those memories but they weren’t memories, we were going to be born in to those places and add our perspective to expand the richness of experience to the tubular community of light.
I was light hearted, joking that we would live a lifetime there. We travelled en masse like a tremendous droplet of consciousness through space adding new totems, new colours of light ‘liths’ and we could identify each of us by our email address!
The few new liths were vibrant and purple. Glowing in a patchy extension, stretching the reach of this serpent of time. I was scared but felt welcome, amused and overwhelmed at the gravity of how mv short life would be extended and dragged down to the depths of The Universe.
This was a tribal force of kindness, a knowledge frisson where you could lose yourself in the orgy of experience but you kept your own identity — which in a way made the stretch of time deep diving lonely too. This mega droplet travelling forward and down, a globule of light, all at once I was the whole thing and I could feel the weight of ten thousand years pulling me forward towards what?
