I agree with you, Leigha. As soon as I left a 19-year marriage and entered the dating world, I always had my credit card ready to share the cost of dinner. In fact, if during dinner I realized that this would be the only date, I insisted on paying. In 2005, I met a man who would not allow me to share the bill. We dated for several years, so I would get up at some point during the meal to give my credit card to our server at least every two or three dinner dates.
