I think everyone should have a no texting/chatting rule at the dinner table. It’s always polite to ignore our phones at a meal.

As far as answering a call? I haven’t answered my phone in years. On my cell I always let it go. If it’s important, someone will leave a message. And speaking of phones, my landline is totally blocked to all incoming calls.
