So to have someone come here and express frustration around editing the mess is foreign to me. To have someone go further to express such a childish backstabbing ripping apart of others’ perhaps most tender thoughts?
My opinion here means close to nothing. However, the pub’s description is:

There was no backstabbing. I wrote a personal piece and didn’t mention the name of the publication. I didn’t mention the writer’s names. To me the name of the publication had nothing to do with the writing being a mess. Unfortunately, I was given no instructions nor any feedback except when I asked about editing and making corrections. I was asked not to. I was kept in the dark about everything. If there were emails exchanged about the publication’s purpose/mission, I didn’t receive any.
I’m sorry if anyone finds my story inappropriate and hurtful. That was not my intention. I write personal essays about personal events.
