Yes! Yes! It’s a terrible feeling. In 2008 I thought I was marrying the kindest man I’d ever met. We had dated for two years before the engagement and then another before we married. I kept saying to him, “Don’t you have any faults?” and “Have you always been this nice?” I couldn’t have been more wrong about someone! He completely changed as soon as we got home from our honeymoon, and unfortunately it took me three years before I was certain he wasn’t going to change back from the meanest man I’d ever met to the nice guy I first knew.
