You really made me laugh! I love Sherry Caris, and yes we have a lot in common. I am even in the same age category — well, sort of. I turned 69 on April 4. Scary! Thankfully, I don’t look or feel it :)

I have read all of Sherry’s work, and now I am very much looking forward to diving into yours. I truly enjoyed your story of how you met your husband and the wonderful relationship that followed. I have been married twice and haven’t gotten it right yet. This resonates with me: “ I didn’t “need” a man which, for me, I believe was the key. I didn’t need one to save me (even from myself) or to light me on fire or for anything. I did wish I got sick less often but otherwise lived, and live, day to day. I don’t worry about tomorrow or try to change yesterday. I sit in solitude and know peace.”
