2. A study lead by investment bank PiperJaffray has suggested that teenagers are consolidating their social media presence on the major platforms, leaving less known networks, like Kik to fight for the market. As reported by Yahoo here, “Snapchat, with 81% adoption, and Instagram, with 79%, are the leading platforms for teens between the age of 14 and 18. Facebook and Twitter are behind, with 51% and 56% respectively.” The data in the report shows what every good marketer SHOULD know… that people are across many platforms and use each different, for different uses.
3. It’s no secret that marketing on LinkedIn can be… well, an afterthought. It’s actually very easy to set up, and that’s big ups to the UI/UX team at LinkedIn for making it so user friendly. The cost per result isn’t what we’ve come to see on other platforms, but given the nature in which people operate on the platform, maybe that’s to be expected. BUT! LinkedIn have announced they’re pushing lead generating forms aimed at increasing the quality of leads for your business. It’s worth a look.
