It’s great to look at these numbers and I believe ViVino is incredibly impressive and has changed some of the wine consumption landscape, but it is still a very small step in the bigger picture — use your Opus example, yes, 28k reviews (over multiple vintages) is impressive. Say it was just four vintages, during that period of say 4 vintages, Opus produced 1.2 million bottles. That equates to just 2% of all bottles during that period were scanned. Is that “Wow. Just wow” ? Just curious. As you know better than most, there are no silver bullets and although Vivino is still taking the wine world by storm, it’s still just a drizzle.
