Whether it’s the San Bernardino shooting, the Nepal earthquake, the California wildfires, or the recent storms that hit the Southern U.S., the GoFundMe community rallies to help in times of crisis. Now, the GoFundMe community is coming to the aid of the people of Flint, who are dealing with the horrific water crisis. To date, more than $180,000 dollars have been raised from 4500 donors to help Flint — with more donations coming in from across the country every minute.

This is amazing progress, but we want to do more. That is why GoFundMe is pledging to donate $10,000 to the campaign that raises the most money between 6:00am PT on Friday, January 22, through 6:00pm PT on Friday, January 29, to provide clean drinking water to the people of Flint. …
