Expectations and Misunderstandings



Few things cause misunderstandings more than expectations. People bring with them certain expectations that others are not aware of or do not feel obligated to fulfill.

Expectations come from imaginary outcomes. We expect reality and the thoughts of others to be inline with our own. But when we let go of these expectations, we find that they are not necessary – that they come from our own insecurities, and we enable ourselves to be more accepting of others.
