Now after you’ve gathered all relevant information, you move ahead to the actual marketing of your products or services.

But which media channel do you choose? You have social media marketing, content marketing, SMS marketing, affiliate marketing, email marketing, mobile marketing and much more. Here’s a helpful hint: if your consumers use multiple digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, blogs etc) and a variety of devices (tablets, cellphones) to access those channels, make sure you target those very channels. Make sure your posts are catchy, relevant and timed correctly, because let’s be honest — if your target audience is teenage girls, your posts at 6 am in the morning will hardly rouse any response because those girls would be still in bed, sleeping!

So, What is Digital Marketing? It goes way beyond just sending out social media blasts, emails, or having a pretty website. It is having a plan to grow and strengthen your brand through the digital space. You have to create a voice for your company and push your content properly.
