This, all of this! Flash gave us so much — from the early days of the all-singing, all-dancing MSN launch in 1996 using Futuresplash, to complex online and offline apps built using AIR (my colleagues and I at YouView even build the embedded UI for our set-top boxes using Flash). What I miss the most is that nothing seems to have replaced the supreme simplicity of starting up a Flash project, dropping a few lines of script on a MovieClip, and setting the whole thing running.
