In Which I Am Even More Confused About Healthcare in America

I feel for everyone involved in health care. Patients just want treatment when they need it. Hospitals want to just help people get better and have as little red tape doing it while still meeting their expenses. Insurance Companies are charged with cost containment as they are allowed to make a profit, but they can neither overcharge premiums or pay too little to hospital and have to make hard decisions about scarcity. Drug companies need to make $ from the drugs they develop so they can develop new better drugs, but again can’t overcharge. In summary health care is too important to be a matter of $ but is also too important to not be managed fiscally responsibly…So yeah…here is some red tape.
