10 alternatives to “I love you”
Jessica Semaan

The individual characters used in the Hebrew word for love, define it as the act of giving. Surprisingly, it is ‘not about me’, it is about you. It is not how you make me feel, but how far I can extend myself toward you.

The best illustration of it, is the Creator God in Son bearing punishment for my selfishness and sin with unfathomable suffering, so that I will be able to dwell as his companion now and forever. God and Love are intrinsic.

Any love that I might offer, is but pale in comparison to His. Can you imagine a relationship who’s greatest delight is to give without condition to the other?

Just thinking. I’ve appreciated your thoughts Jessica.
