The first domino

Waking up early and getting a workout in is the most important thing I do all day. It puts me in the right place mentally and gives me the energy and confidence to execute throughout the day.

It leads to me eating healthier foods, drinking less caffeine, and being more kind and patient with those around me.

I know this, yet still struggle everyday to get up and do it. Everyday it’s an internal battle between sleep and my workout.

I know, however, that the likelihood of me going is dramatically higher if I did it the day before. Each consecutive day of working out makes it easier to get up and go. At the same time, each day of sleeping in makes it increasingly difficult to break the negative pattern.
